Senior Bilingual Financial Analyst (Chicago, IL):

Analyze financial data and forecast business, industry, and economic conditions to develop U.S. real estate investment plans for Japanese clients. Advise clients and their tax advisors about differences between U.S. & Japanese tax & real estate law and regulations. Execute clients' investment plans and monitor through all phases of the investment cycle. Identify and present investment opportunities to potential clients. Conduct due diligence and closing processes for clients' investments. Serve in a fiduciary capacity to provide clients investment performance reports and to respond to questions raised by existing and potential clients.


Full-time position, 40+ hr/wk. Must be available to work evenings Su-Th until 10p. Must be fluent in Japanese.  BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.  Education must include coursework in Finance or Statistics.  2 years’ experience as Real Estate Financial Analyst, including applying knowledge of Japanese tax and real estate laws and regulations.  Approx. 20 days/yr. of international and domestic travel required to meet with clients and investigate investment properties.
